We have gained a reputation in the area for the quality and variety of food that we have to offer.  Here we intend to give you an idea of the wide choice of food we prepare in our kitchens.  We serve both lunch and dinner and of course, for those of you who stay with us, breakfast too. Both bar and a la carte menus are now available with starters and desserts to tempt your taste buds. We also have a selection of both New World and traditional wines for you to choose from.


             Below are just an example of some of the dishes we offer:
   
●   Fish Pie a medley of fish in a cream, white wine and dill sauce topped
      with mashed potato & cheese.
●   Steak and Ale Pie braised in local ale and served with chips and peas
●   Pork Sausages from local butcher with mashed potato and caramelized onion gravy
    Ham, Eggs and Chips home cooked
●   Clinton Mixed Grill rump steak, pork loin, lamb chop, gammon & sausage served with
      chips, peas, onion rings, mushrooms and fried egg
●   Lamb Cutlets, a trio of lamb cutlets in a mint marinade served on a bed of sautéed
      spinach
●   Pan Fried Chicken stuffed with brie wrapped in bacon with a cranberry cream sauce
●   Gammon Steak 10oz gammon steak, grilled tomato with egg or pineapple
●   Steaks, 6oz or 10oz rump steak, or 8oz sirloin, served with grilled tomato,
      onion rings, and sautéed mushrooms

Vegetarian Options include:

●    Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini with basil and cream gratin
●    Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Tart topped with goat's cheese and balsamic dressing
       served with new potatoes and salad
Sunday Lunch is served from 12 - 3pm - booking advisable

Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, vegetables (wine extra). 

There is usually alternative meat and vegetarian options.

If you have any special dietary requirements our Head Chef, would be pleased to try to  accommodate your needs as all our meals are cooked from fresh ingredients using local produce where available. It would be helpful if you would let us know when you are booking and he will be happy to discuss this with you.
